This book ŒChemical Kinetics˜ is the third issue in this series and intended for students, who are required to study the Chemical Kinetics. The book is concerned in building a strong foundation in the Chemical Kinetics and its principle. Attention is being given to practical applications and solved examples.

This book leads on from elementary basic kinetics, and covers the main topics needed for a good working knowledge and understanding the basic aspects of kinetics. It emphasizes how experimental data is collected and manipulated to afford standard kinetic quantities such as: rates, rate constants, enthalpies, entropies and volumes of activation. It also emphasizes on how these quantities are used for interpretations of the mechanism of the reaction. The relevance of kinetic studies to aspects of physical, inorganic, organic and biochemical chemistry is illustrated through explicit references and examples. Kinetics provide a unifying tool for all branches of chemistry, and this is something to be encouraged in teaching which is emphasized here.
